The contributions paid on last year's assessment, and the votes given are—Waiotabi £279, three votes; Victoria, £170, two votes; Caledonian, £334, four votes; Kuranui, £95, one vote; Moanataiari, £375, four votes; Saxon, £250, three votes; May Queen. £250. three votes. If the Waiotahi. Victoria and Kuranui vote together, and Moanataiari Saxon and MayQueen do the same, there will be a division, as the respective groups can exercise ten votes each, so that there i 3 every indication of the election proving a close one.
