s (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)"" PAEROA. Sunday. The Ohinemuri No. 1 Volunteer Corps went into camp this afternoon at Nieholl's paddock for a week's instruction. The company is under the command of Captain Hubbard and Sero-t.-Major McDonnell will act as drill Inspector. PAEROA, this day. Yesterday a little girl named Alice Casley, 10 years of age. was lost in the Rotokohu Bush, near Paeroa. She went picnicking with her brother and bis wife, and strayed. A search made till 9 last evening, and since this morning, so far without result. A large number is now out searching. The police arrested at Te Aroha on Saturday evening a young man named Charles Smith, suspected of b>eakinc» and entering Cullen's shop, Paeroa. Accused was brought to Paeroa this morning by Constable Wild, and will be charged and probably remanded. v LATER. The little girl Casley was discovered at 10 a-m. by Jim Brown, who remained in the bush all night. She was sitting on a log quite content that she would be found. She was six miles away from the camping ground.
