WAIHI ACCIDENT.
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. A serious accident occurred yesterday in Walmsley J s Bush. Mrs. J. D. Coutts, ii member of a party spending the day in the bush, was sitting under a tree when a large branch suddenly fell, striking her on the back. Mr. Coutts managed to lift the branch, and had the lady removed to their home, where Dr. Slater attended. It h impossible yet to state whether the injuries are very serious. A miner named Tanner, while getting firewood in the bush yesterday, accidentally cut his second finger in half.
