LOST AT SEA.
HOUGH VOYAGE OF A BARQUE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The barque Itata, from Liverpool, arrived last night. She experienced rough .veather on the voyage, and on December 10 an A.B. named Hyland, who was engaged stowing the jib, was washed off the jibboon and drowned. Nothing could be done to assist the unfortunate man owing to the high sea running. Deceased was formerly a seaman on Lhe barque Northern Monarch, wrecked near Patea about sixteen months ago.
