RUSSIAN PRESS COMMENTS.
SHOW MUCH 'BITTERNESS. (Received 8.57 a,m.) LONDON, September 9. The Russian newspapers - generally severely blame the Russian commanders for having under-esti-mated the strength, fighting qualities and intelligence of the Japanese. Much of the disaster, they state, was owing to tne want of unity in the Russian command. General Kuropatkin is, they assert, only the nominal eommander-in-chief in Manchuria.
