(By Telegraph—Press Association.) PHOSPHORUS POISONING. NAPIER, Saturday. A domestic servant named Elizabeth Sh/epperd was taken to the hospital today suffering from phosphorus poisoning. She is alleged to have swallowed the dissolved heads of five boxes of matches, and shortly afterwards informed her mistress, who immediately sent for medical aid. The girl, who has been depressed in spirits for some time, is now out of danger.
