Principal Rainy, of the United Free Church of Scotland, in thanking the Archbishop of Canterbury for His Grace's offer to mediate in the dispute of the Scottish churches, says that he will be glad of disinterested mediation when, or if the situation comes to be discussed jrith a view to Parliamentary action.
