CONGREATIONAL UNION.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Congregational Union resumes its session this morning. The conference on Sunday-schools was opened by the Rev. Mr Baker, of Palmerston North, with a paper on* ""Wanted, a Reformation." He urged that the -Sunday-schools should become an integral rather than an annexe of the church. Families in the country should be encouraged to form individual schools, the quality of the teaching should be raised, and preparation classes for teachers should be established. A discussion followed. The Rev. W. W. Grant, of South Australia, conveyed fraternal greetings from the South Australian Union.
