Arti a meeting the Albany-street School Committee unanimously resolved to protest against a proposal carried by school inspectors at a conference on Tuesday la3t to amend section 45 Education Act, 1877, by repealing sub-sec-tion dealing with powers of school committees in the appointment, suspension or dismissal of teachers, such, being in the committee's opinion detrimental to the best interests of the schooL "
