LIFE-BUOY FOUND.

The Collector of Customs, Mr. JUex. Rose, has received a telegram from Mr. Yates, Parengarenga. announcing that a lifebuoy has been found on Bowies' Beach., bearing the name Marguerite " Elise, -and the word "Xantes." Nothing else was found which would give ant information. The Marguerite Elise is a French steel barque of 1257 tons, the property of V. Vincent. Nantes, but no such vessel is known to he in colonial waters.
