ACCIDENT.

A rather serious buggy accident oc* eurred the other day at Golden Cross, Waitekauri. It appears that Mr Highland, manager of the Co-operative Society, and Mr J. Donnelley, of Waihi, were driving in a buggy from Golden Cross, when their horse became restive, and suddenly swervod, throwing both occupants heavily. Mr Highland was severely hurt, and was picked up unconscious. Mr Donnelley received a shaking and some bruises. Both men were medically attended to.
