BURGLARIES IN DUNEDIN.

DUNEDIN, this day.

On Sunday morning early, thieves entered the Southern Hotel and secured from the safe money and jewellery- valued at £80.

On Sunday night a visit was made to the Wharf Hotel. A safe was taken out, and broken open in Sparrow's Foundry yard. The burglars, however, got nothing, the proprietress having taken the precaution in view of the earlier robbery to remove about £ 100 before retiring.
