CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday.
There was a large attendance at the meeting of the Christchurch Racing Club to-day, and the sum of £2672 2/10 pussed through the totalisator. Following are the results:—
High-weight Handicap of 40sovs, one mile.—Calotype, 9.1, 1; Kotokoto, 9.7, 2; Lapidary, 9.9, 3. Long Tom, Clanburn. Cloudeboy, Lady Medallist and Khaki also started. Won by a length and aralf. Time, 1.48_. Dividends, £12 6/ and ]_'.
Maiden Handicap of 25sovs, seven furlongs.—Bill Perkins, .8.10, 1; Puawai, 7.5, 2; J.P., 7.12, 3. The Soldier, Annesette and Lady Brand also started. Won by two lengths. Timo, 1.33 4-ss. Dividend^ £1 16/.
Christchurch Autumn Handicap of 55 soys, on© mile and a distance.—Calibre, 7-7, 1; Pallas, 6.12. 2; Huku, 7.0, 3. Dundas, Terrapin, Skobeloff, Scottish Minstrel and Dijn Djin also started. Won by a length. Time, 21J. Dividends, £5 and 16/.
