ALL SAINTS' CHURCH.

The annual meeting of Parishioners of All Saints' Church,. Ponsonby, was held in the schoolroom last evening, Archdeacon Calder in the chair. The general secretary read the reports of the Vestry and Sunday-school, and the statement of accounts. Vestry Report.-Among other matters this report stated that the amount in hand •on Ortober Ist. 1901, was £220 10/7. In pursuance of the instructions of the meeting of parishioners on that date, your Vestry initiated a scheme of regular colectionT which is now in full working order, and bids fair to be a, ffrea success. The amount so far collecte-1 is £9. 0/5 The parish had contributedl . £lO2 12/3 to objects commended by the Bishoo or by resolution of the Synod. The Bree Memorial Window had arrived, and the promoter. Dr. Bayntum. had handed over £66 17/3 to the wardens, who have paid landing charges, £7 18/7, and have £58 to meet the artist's bill, and the erection and fixing of a brass plate under the window as soon as possible. Sunday-school Report.—The work of the school has been well sustained during the year, although we have to record the loss of nine teachers from our ranks, the majority of whom have left the parish. The teachers and officers now number ?.5. the aggregate for the y^ar being 37. with and average attendance of 34.4. The attendance of pupils was 551, boys 283, girls 268 the average attendance per Sunday being 403.11. In July last 64 scholars were examinpd in the Auckland Sunday-school examination «n the international course of lessons, and were successful in obtaining one urize. 6 first class, 10 second class. 9 .third class, and .20 nasss certificates. The Bishop's examination was held in Advent, 45 scholars presented themselves, and were awarded 3 first class, 12 second class, 8 third class certificates, 18 honourable mention, and one first prize in the repetition examination. The statement of accounts showed receipts £1030 18/7. leaving a smail debit of £22 2/1. General offertories amounted to £388 11/. and pew rents to £204 19/, making £593 10/ of the total revenue. The new church building fund showed a credit balance of £317 11/, and the Brec memorial window fund a credit of £58 18/8. The Sunday-school accounts showed receipts (including balance brought forward of £9 14A0) £113 13/4, and expenditure £104 5A leaving a credit balance of £9 7/1-1.

The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: —Vicar's warden, Mr A. S. Russell; parishioners' warden, Mr A. Littler; vestrymen, Messrs G. Carder, C. M. Calder, G. Gregory, J. H. Gregory, G. Osmond. T. Culpan, E. White, W. H. Wilson, and McKenzie; auditors, Messrs J. Newell and F. Stokes.

On the motion of the Chairman an expression, of regret was recorded at the continued illness of Mr Lusher, who for many years has been connected with phurch matters.

Votes of thanks were accorded Mr H. W. Wilson for his services as reader during the past year, the choir, vestry, collecting committee, Sunday-school teachers and officers.
