SPREADING TO THE WALLABIES

SYDNEY, April 20. Two fresh cases of plague have been reported.

Tie latest development is the closing of the Zoological Gardens owing to the discovery that a wallaby is suffering from plague. The death of a number of herbiverous animals in the gardens recently led to ,an investigation. Plague is supposed to have been contracted from rat-infested fodder.
