ST. GEORGE'S ROWING CLUB.

On Saturday last the St. George's Rowing Club held "upside down" trials for trophies presented by the club, which were both amusing and exciting. The strokes showed quite a liking for their position in the boat. After some good racing the final was won by A. Gilmour, D. Allen, F. Moore, and E. Innes. Mr Sam Jagger gave entire satisfaction as judge. The final for the Kohn trophies ordered by the committee to be re-rowed resulted in a victory by about a length for E. Stone, A. G. Sanders, C. Power, and A. W. innes. On Saturday next the Thomas Cup (pair oars) competition takes place as a wind-up to a very successful season.
