THE APPEAL COURT.
THE COMMONWEALTH HOTEL
CASE.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
WELLINGTON, this day
The Appeal Court unanimously allowed the appeal in the""case of the Commonwealth ( Hotel, New Plymouth. The Court held that pecuniary relations of the Magistrate with the parties did not support bias on his part, but a letter given stating that on certain conditions he would grant the license was likely to create real bias. The Court therefore quashed the license.
