IN BANKRUPTCY.
A meeting of the creditors of George ! N. Hawk was held yesterday afternoon In the office of the Official Assignee. The debtor stattil fhat his "verage wage was »16 per month; he paid £4 6/8 per month rent, and could not see his way to make any offer as ho was compelled to live In an elevated position on account of hl3 wife's health. It was decided that unless the debtor pay to the Official Assignee £5 per month and give an order on the District Land Registrar to pay the same, the Official Assignee be requested to take proceedings under section 137. sub-section 2, of the Bankruptcy Act, and also that no action be taken with respect to the bankrupt's furniture so long as the £5 per month were paid.
