WELLINGTON, this day. THE HON. HALL-JONES.
The Hon. Hall-Jones, Minister for Public Works, left by the Manawatu train this morning. He goes to Rotorua lor the benefit of his health. COUNTIES BILL. The Counties Bill to be dealt with next session is nearly identical with the old Local Authorities Bill, omitting all reference to boroughs, which latter it was considered expedient to, deal with under the Municipal Act, 1900. THE VOLUNTEER SQUABBLE: It is understood that the inquiry into the arrangements at Nevvtowi? Park will embrace the whole question of administration of volunteer forces.
