WELCOME AT FRANKTON.

HAMILTON, this day,
The Hamilton Borough Council met last Monday evening. A number of telegrams from, the Premier were read with reference to the Royal visit. He suggested that as the Duke stopped for 25 minutes at Frankton, the station should be decorated and the National Anthem sung by the school children. A committee, consisting of Crs. Sare, Coyle, Bond, Coates, and the Mayor was appointed to • make the necessary arrangements.
