By-law Cases.—John McGuire, Eobert Barringer, and William Walsh each fined 10/ and courts 7/ for driving after dark without lights, and John Whitcombe 1/ and costs 7/ for carrying more passengers in a'licensed stage-carriage than allowed by the license. John B. Bell wras fined £i and costs 7/ for neglecting to clean a yard in Symonds-street, and" P. Leonard 5/ and costs 9/ for allowing waste water to flow irom his premises upon the premises of -S. Hindley. Thomas Godkin was fined 5/ and costs 7/ for obstructing the footpath in Wellesley-street by allowing a seat to i-emain there. John ' McGregor was fined £2 and costs £17/ for obstructing a carriage road by allowing a horse and cart to remain across the road for an hour.
