Messrs Cooper and Macdermott having arranged a farewell performance in honour of the Contingent, the officer in charge (Captain Reid) kindly accepted the invitation on behalf, of the men. and arranged for them to attend the Opera House to-morrow evening, for which purpose they will march from the Domain. A suitable programme will be presented. Smith & Caughey's annual summer fair will begin next Monday morning at 10 a.m.—(Ad.)
