Commandant Beyer, with 1200 men. Amd five guns, continues trekking northeast since the defeat at Kmgersdorp. . . A big-concentration movement is in progress in the Bethel and Ermelo districts, north of Natal. LONDON. January 16. De Wet has recrossed the Vaal and joined the Transvaal commandoes. The Governor of Pretoria has prohibited civilians from wearing khaki. Anyone wearing a costume resembling the British uniform is liable to arrest and punishment.
