annual general meeting of the Waiptt Amateur Athletic Club was held on Monday evening last. The balancesheet showed a credit balance of £14 10/11. It was decided to hold the annual sports meeting on 9th November, and the work of drawing up a programme of events was referred to the Committee. Officers were elected for the ensuing year, and &,* voted to the secretary in recognition of his services on behalf of the club. It was decided to expend a considerable sum in improving the track in view of the forthcoming sports meeting.
