BARRIER REEFS.
The building- of the boiler for the Barrier Reef Company's battery and all the work in connection therewith is now finished, and the concrete floor has been laid in the boiler house ready for the -surface coating1. Most of the steam pipes are in and the piping1 for the cyanide is practically completed. There is not much [remaining tobe done in connection with the water services as the last iron tank has been received ■and Hoisted into position. The carpenters are making launders to run from the classifiers to the vannefs. Matters will soon be far enough ahead to enable, a; trial run of the battery to take place.
