ELECTRIC TRAMWAYS.
Mr William Coleman, solictor, forwarded to the , City Council various correspondence relative to the giiarantee re electric tramways; also a memo, from the manager of the Batik of New Zealand stating that at the re* quest of the Auckland Electric Tramways Company, Limited, the bank g-uaranteed that the sum of £25,000 is now and shall for twelve calendar months from the date of the proposed deed of delegation from your corporate body to the company be available, for the purpose of partly constructing tho undertaking", as agreed upon-be-tween yon and the company, and iti such deed of delegation particularly mentioned and described.
The correspondence was.referred to. the Streets Committee.
