ST. BARNABAS' GYMNASTIC CLUB.
A number of res" 'ents of the Mount Eden district who are interested ia; gymnastics met last evening in Sr. Barnabas', when it was decided to form a St. Barnabas' Gymnastic Club. The club is to be purely unseetarian, and the entrance fee is to be 5/, with a subscription of 3d a week. Officers were elected for the ensuing season as follows:—President, Rev. W. H. Johnson; vice-presidents, Messrs A. J. E. Moore, W. H. Lyon, W. Cole ( and Shirley Hill; secretary and treasurer, Mr E. Yates; and a committee consisting- of Messrs ,N. T. Williams E 4 Dube, and A. Reid, with power to add to their number. Thursday was fixed as the weekly night of meeting.
