FEILDING, this day;
The Governor and Lady : Ranfurly visited FeUding-yesterday and;ha'd a splendid reception at the railway station. Although -the -visit was nrioiHcial a deputation of Irishmen waited on -His Excellency and asked him to forward a message to Her Majesty the Queen thanking her for the compliment'paid to.the Irish regiments in permitting them to wear the Shamrock on St. Patrick's day. The Governor promised to do this, and expressed himself much pleased .to learn of the prosperity of his countrymen in this district.
