Court Nil Desperandum, Ancient Order of Foresters, will celebrate its anniversary next Friday, March 23, by a grand social concert and dance ' at the Foresters' Hall, Newton. A ' very strong committee of officers • have been appointed to carry out de- j tails and are sparing no expense in the matter of making- the function a success, worthy of its predecessors, which has gained for Court Nil Desperandum a name in the matter of entertaining their friends at its anniversaries. The catering has been entrusted to Mr R. Barber, which in ! itself is a guarantee that part of the affair will be a success, whilst the 'concert will be carried out by a numi ber of our best local and professional i talent.
