THE TWENTY-FIRST CASE
SYDNEY, March 14. Inoculation with the plague prophylactic commences to-day. It will, be restricted to those engaged in the danger area, and likely by reason of occupations to contract the disease. A man named Butler was found at Ultimo suffering from plague. This makes the twenty-first ease. Two hundred and twenty-five persons were inoculated to-day. Alexander Bell, who was isolated when his brother was stricken with plague, has developed the disease. MELBOURNE, this day. The Government have consented to examine Sydney passengers passingthrough Victoria en route to New Zealand.
