» (By Telegraph.-Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, this day. Mr T. H. Lamb, who has been first assistant in the local post and telegraph office during the past four and a half years, has been transferred to Wanganui and leaves to-night, During his residence here Mr Lamb made a host of friends .by his uniform courtesy and genial and obliging disposition, and his loss.will be keenly felt. Mr Lamb w ras an enthusiastic bandsman, and as bandmaster of the Paeroa Band did splendid service. Hq Was an accomplished trombone player and his services at all local concerts were willingly given and greatly appreciated.
