LONDON, February 18
General Buller" is threatening the .Boers' position on Inhlawe Hill to the east of Colensq. Considerable movement is noticeable among the Boers northward of Ladysmi th. It is supposed to be the result of General Cronje's invasion of the Free State. ; DURBAN, February. 16. General Buller's fire at Dumkloof disabled two big guns,> and another is iso damaged at the mouth that its [shells are aimless. A fourth gun was destroyed. Mr Hutton, Reuters correspondent at Ladysmith, escaped by night, walking ...and crawling for 22 miles to ! Chieveley, thus evading the Boer picki ets.
