OHINEMURI COUNCIL.

The statutory meeting was held today in the Council Chambers, the business being the election of chairman and of delegates to the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. There were present Crs. Barry. Staokpole, Moore, Saunders. McClelland, Marrinan, Cassrels, and Poland.
Cr Barry was unanimously elected chairman; Crs. Moore and McClelland, trustees to the Thames Hospital, and also to represent the Council on the Thames Hospital and Charitable Aid Board; and Cr. Moore, deputy to the Hospital Hoard. Cr. Poland was elected chairman of the Finance Committee.
