Mr Wm. McDowall, of Barry and McDowall, large contractors, dropped dead from heart disease in his office to-day. aetat GO.
Ah Tong was to-day committed for trial for the alleged" theft of naturalisation papers. In defence it was said the ease was merely an act of revenge. This was the third time 'he had been prosecuted by the same party, and exery time it Was after some, case in which he had been engaged 'against it.
