PUBLIC SCHOOL EXAMINATIONS.

DUNEDIN, this day.
At a meeting of the Education Board the following resolutions were adopted:—"(l) That the Board is of opinion that the system of individual passes should be abolished." " (2) That the Board is of opinion that the system of standards should be abolished." The first resolution was carried unanimously, and'the other by four to three. It was decided to send the resolutions to the Minister for' Education, and to other Education Boards, asking their co-opera-tion.
