' A meeting of students of Mr T. Harle Giles' Business and Training College was held at the College on Tuesday last, for the purpose of forming a football club. There was a large attendance. Mr Giles was called to the chair. It was unanimously resolved that a club be formed to be called Giles' College Football Club, and it was decided to enter a first fifteen for the Secondai-y School Championship.. The following office bearers were elected :—Patron, Mr J. J. Holland, ' M.H.K. ; President, Mr T. Harle Giles; Vice-presidents, Messrs J. H. .Witheford, John Eeid, J. J. Craig, George Court, G. Humphries, J. H. M. Carpenter and Dr. McArthur ; Secretary and Treasurer, L. Lazarus ; Ctoptain, E. Humphries ; Vice-captain, A. G. Menzies. The colours of the •tub to be black and white.' A large number of students gave in their ftames as members, and a very successful season is anticipated.
