HAMILTON, Saturday.
The Kerekereroa Road Board met yesterday. Mr E. B. Cox, of Taupiri, wrote suggesting that the control of the new cemetery at Taupiri should be vested in three trustees in place of the Board. He suggested the names Of Messrs. G. T. Worthington, C. R. Lpvell, and E. B. Cox as trustees.' The Board agreed to the proposal, but owing to the death of Mr Worthington asked Mr Cox to suggest the name of another trustee, after which the Board will apply to have the alteration gazetted. Repairs were authorised to the Tauhei Road, River Road, Welsh's Road, Mangawhara, Henderson's Road, North Ngaru'awahia, Smith's Hill, near Hintons Gully, and to Martin's Bridge at Hukanui, at a total cost of £190. This sum includes the supply of 2,400 yds. of gravel on various roads throughout the district, for which tenders are called, the available balance of the Board, including rates due, amounts to- £545) 14/2. Accounts amounting to £56 were parsed for payment.
