OLD AGE PENSIONS.

The Stipendiary Magistrate (Mr Brabant) continued his investigations into old age pension claims to-day. Very satisfactory progress was made. The following persons obtained certificates for the full amounts:—Daniel Hutchison, George Strange, C. Teague, Wm. Covle, Joseph Taylor, Harriet and Walter Hare, and Elizabeth Gardiner. Reductions were made in a few instances. The Court will sit until the cause list for to-day's claimants is disposed of. Mr John King, Deputy Registrar, was present on behalf of the Government, with Constable Hollis as his assistant.
