ST. MATTHEW'S DAY SCHOOL.
The annual distribution of prizes in connection with St. .Matthew's Day School, Hobson-street, took place yesterday afternoon. The Rev. L. FitzGerald gave an address, in which he ! said the school was procressino- j n ! every way. He had examined* the I children in Holy Scripture, a subject ' that he himself taught, and the result i of his investigation was most satisfac- I tory. The Countess of Seafield pre-1 seined the prizes as follows:— Scrip- i ture prizes (senior division): Lizzie Piggott, Mabel Martin, Bert StanleY Junior Division: Flora Harrison Ernest Bond.
