_; damage done to the waterraces, tramway and the battery of this •company by the recent flood will not be so much as at first reported, viz., X 1,500. It is now probable half that amount will repair all the damages .sustained, and Mr Daw, the manager, expects to resume, milling on Monday and mining next Wednesday.
