ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

DUNEDIN, this day. ' H. E. Cbinn, traveller for Sarpood Sm, and Jiwen, shot himself last night and? not expected to recover. So far as can v learned, he was on his way home v/ith ! friend, whom he asked "to " Wait minute." He then stepped into a riehUf way and shot himself in the mouth avUW revolver, the ball travelling up and lodein* in the brain. He has been in bad heaM for some time past.
