AUCKLAND COURSING CLUB.

Yesterday the June meeting of tho Auckland Coursing Club was brought to a close at the Avondale Plumpton. The trials resulted as follows :—

CHALLENGE Stakes. Winner, £2S; run-ner-up, £10 10s; third dog, £5; two dogs at £3 each.

SECOND ROUND.

Mr C. Whitteu's Blucher beat Mr A " Carlisle's " Lavender Water.

Mr J. Speer's Sequah beat Mr J. Taylor's Keiller.

Mr A. E. Styche's Seal Packet beat Mr W. H. Brierlev's Lord Rosebery. Mr J. \V. 'Russell's Rocket beat Mr Thos. Willis' The Fiend. Mr J. W. Russell's Favonius ran a natural bye.

THIRD ROUND. Blucher beat Sequah. Favonius beat Seal Packet. Rocket ran a natural bye.

FOUTII ROUND. IHucher beat Kocket. Favonius ran an accidental bye,

FINAL ROUND,

Mr J. W. Russell's Favonius, by Game Boy—Ellie Deans, beat Mr C. Whit ten's Blucher, by Merchant—Sweet Water, and won the stake. The win was an easy one for Favonius after an undecided.

PUPPY Stakes. Winner, £16 ; runner-up, £6 15s ; third dog, £3 ; 4 dogs at £2 each.

THIRD ROUND. Mr J. Taylor's Ballancc beat Mr J Porter's Warsaw.

Mr F. Malam's Hurricane beat Mr J. Gallagher's Brandy.

Mr M. Furlong's Revenge beat Mr E Wylhe's Reindeer.

Mr J. Taylor's Admiral Samson ran a natural bye. FOURTH ROUND. Hurricane beat Ballance. Admiral Samson beat Revenge. FINAL. Mr F. Malam's Hurricane, by Storm-fiend—-Dora 8., beat Mr J. Taylor's Admiral Samson, by Port Admiral—Seesaw, and won the stake. The win was an easy one. Supplementary Stake. first round. Shooting Star beat Caravan. Wisdom beat Lavender Water. FINAL. Wisdom beat Shooting Star and won the stake. The winner had little difficulty in bringing about the defeat of her opponent.
