The December return from the Waitekauri mine is very satisfactory, trillion worth £4,859 13s lid having been obtained from 2,415 tons of ore. This gives an average value per ton -. of £2 0s 3d. ..The present return is the largest since last July, due to the fact that a larger quantity of ore was put through the mill. In -November 1,945 tons produced bullion worth £4,077. The total output of bullion during the year from tho " Waitekauri mine amounts to £01,C67 Ms 3d. •-.,.■
