Komata Reefs
£3,300 FROM 1,000 TONS,
Another English mine has entered into the list of bullion producers, the result of the first crushing of the Komata Reef being now available. This return has been awaited with considerable interest, as it is from practically a new district and may lead to other properties being taken up. The new battery has been running some time, as Captain Argall decided not to clean
up until 1,000 tons ef ore had been treated. The result is undoubtedly satisfactory, as the yield totalled £3,300, the average value of the ore per ton being. £3 6s.
