AUCKLAND RACING CLUB.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Auckland Racing Club Committee was held yesterday afternoon. The following programmes were submitted and passed :— Otorohanga Racing Club (December 21st), Matamata Racing Club (December 27th), Poverty Bay Jockey Club (January, 13th and 14th), Gisborne Racing Club (Summer, January 19th and 20th ; Autumn, April 20th and 21st); Tologa Bay Jockey Club (March 17th) ; Takapuna Jockey Club (January 29th and February 2nd and sth.) The Committee of the Ohinemuri Jockey Club' applied for March 16th and 17th as dates for the holding of their annual meeting, which request was granted, The tenders lodged for the providing of a band of musicians at the club's meetings during the season were considered, and that of Mr J. Impey was accepted.
