THE HOKITIKA FLOODS.

The weather has now moderated, but the' rivers are still .very high. The flood has been the heaviest for many years. Nine inches of rain fell in two days, and the melting of immense quantities of snow is going on. A great deal of damage has been done to the roads and tracks, being estimated at over £3,000.
