SOUTHERN TELEGRMS.

Wellington, this day. After the session it is the intention of the Governor to visit the South Island. He will probably make a driving tour from Nelson through to Invercargill. Dunedin, this day. C. Haynes proposes to stand for the Dunedin seat. A dispute between the Operative Tailors' Society and the master tailors regarding hours of labour, rate of wages, appi'entices, and employment of females, has been referredt to the Board of Conciliation, which meets on Monday next.
In our advertising columns will be seen the programme of to-night's meeting in connection with the Christian" Endeavour Convention. We understand that the programme arranged for to-night will be most interesting to all concerned in missionary work, as messages v\U be delivered from all parts of the world.
