This claim adjoins the Nellie and Moa. Operations are being conducted under the manaeemenb of Mr D. Brigham. Up bo the presenb time two large ore bodies have beon located and Bbripped, showing: quartz of a nice description. The presenb work is confined to driving in what is called the 60fb reef. This ia a large bluff of stone standing out from the mountain side consisting of quartz from one end to tho other, whether justified in terming ib a reef bime alone will tell. The drive is in a distance of aboub 20fb, the quartz being extremely hard and of a dark blue nature, very heavily charged with mineral.
