For some time pasb thero has been considerable speculation amongsb sporting men us to whether tho South Auckland Racing Club would hold its annual meeting or nob this year, bub a meeting held last nighb bas sat all doubts ab rest. A sbabemenb was presented, showing a profib of £S6 8a on tho lasb meeting. Ib was resolved to hold a race meeting on Saturday, March 6th, also to pay all shakes on race night, and those present made themselves responsible for the amount. The names are: S. Coates, A. J. Storey, H. Windsor, A. A. Swarbrick, Dr. Brewis, T. Slade, R. F. Sandes, Dr. Kenny, J. Hammond, D. McIntyre, J. B. Barker, G. Edgecumbe, W. Crawford., The members' fee waa fixed ab 10b 6d.
