The South Island Trotting Association resolved tbab ib could not uphold the decision of the Canterbury Trotting Club in depriving Electioneer, Ruadio, and 11am, the first three horses paab the post, of bhe prize in the New Year Handicap. The Association was of opinion thab the Canterbury Trotting Club acted injudiciously in not allowing the owners of the disqualified horsoa to explain thoir running. The Association declared tbe second race null and void. ■ •■<■•■'
